OFSTED in their 2011inspection stated that St George’s Church of England Primary School is, ‘a good school with many outstanding features’.

Mrs Kent and all the staff would like to welcome you to our brand new, state-of-the-art Nursery and Primary school.  We are all really excited about the coming year and hope the children benefit from all the hard work that numerous people have put into making this new build a reality.

These new facilities together with the latest technology and dedicated staff will provide the children with a fantastic learning environment which will contribute to making their education both challenging and fun.

Despite the new building and the tremendous opportunities this provides the children, our ethos and aims at St George’s for the children remain the same.  We believe that each child is an individual and that their needs, both socially and educationally, will be met so that they can achieve their very best.

Mrs Kent and her staff work tremendously hard for the children and families within our school, which was highlighted in our recent Ofsted inspection, and we know that this continued hard work, together with our new building, will mean this success can continue.
