Christian Values and Vision

Our education and vision is rooted in Jesus’ promise of ‘Life in all its Fullness’ . We seek to bring that vision to life, in our classrooms, in our schools and in our community.

Most of all, we want to make sure every St George’s child feels loved and valued in everything they do. To know, in their heart and soul that they can enjoy and achieve anything they want in life. But also to wish the same for others, wherever and whoever they are.

By educating for our school Christian values we seek growth and flourishing for all, and through this the learning,  transformation and celebration of our St George’s School Community.

Throughout Jesus’ life, he reached out to those who society had forgotten. The vulnerable, the marginalised- those who needed support most. He challenges us to show the ultimate worth of all people; people of all faiths and loves, or none. God’s love is unconditional but expects us to try to be the best we can.

This takes the aims of the Church of England’s Vision for Education, and expresses them in our values. These are rooted here -but always looking outwards to the world; each underpinned by a theological truth that guides our work.
